Dennis Anderson

Dennis Anderson has been with KERR radio and Anderson Broadcasting in Polson since 1994, when his father Andy Anderson first called and asked him to operate the station for the family.

Dennis accepted the offer along with his wife Nila and moved to Polson from California to operate the station and in 2002 they purchased the stations KERR and KQRK from the family. Since then they have added radio stations in Eureka, St. Regis/Missoula, other stations in Missoula and Hamilton as well. Now they operate 11 stations from their headquarters in the Mission Valley between Polson and Pablo.

Dennis was born in Bismark ND, was an eagle scout, worked for the family radio stations as a teenager writing advertising copy, ripping the AP and UPI teletype for on air use. He was an associate instructor for Dale Carnegie during high school and played in a local rock band. He served in the Navy during Viet Nam and Cambodia war, serving as medic. He also tried out after service, successfully as bass player for REO Speedwagon! He turned down the offer to join the band to take the management position at KERR in Polson for the family broadcasters.

He and Nila support many Polson and Mission Valley community events year-round through the radio stations and their personal involvement. They have a daughter (Elizabeth) who has a journalism degree from the University of Montana. She has joined them at the stations helping with social media, digital, ad sales and news editing.
